New Hope Behavioral Services' "Building Hope" Mentorship Program is designed to meet youth where they are in their growth and development. Our goals are to recruit, educate and inspire our youth to be young leaders in school and in the community. We want to present the information in a real-world perspective to ensure our youth can conceptualize and demonstrate behavior that will promote positive productivity, a sense of pride, and a desire to help others.

We will accomplish our goals through community mentors and partners collaborating with us to help achieve the desired outcomes.

WHO WE ARE

The "Building Hope" Mentorship Program is a community-based initiative designed to support at-risk youth through meaningful, one-on-one mentorship.
WHO WE HELP

We connect youth ages 12–18 with trained, caring mentors who help guide them toward academic success, personal growth, and future opportunities.
WHAT WE DO
Our program offers weekly mentoring sessions focused on building trust, setting goals, and fostering emotional well-being. In addition to mentorship, we provide academic tutoring, life skills workshops, and career readiness training. Youth also engage in community service, leadership development, and group activities that build social confidence and teamwork. We collaborate with schools, families, and community organizations to ensure wraparound support. Our goal is to empower youth to make positive choices, stay on track in school, and envision a future beyond their current circumstances. The program is free of charge and open to referred youth who meet eligibility criteria. By investing in our youth, we strengthen families and uplift entire communities. Together, we’re creating pathways to purpose, one relationship at a time. We also provide parenting classes for young men under the age of 21 and can provide tutoring opportunities to improve academic performance that leads to a high school diploma.
